This month, we are re-visiting one of our favourite Joburg Secret spots with new twists designed to make you say 'la vita è bella – life is beautiful'. Are you keen to join us?

This time, the choice is yours -- join us for the full overnight experience with quite a few Secret surprises in store for you or just join us for dinner and drinks.

We'll journey just outside the city to a truly spectacular hidden treasure, offering a rich and vibrant history, unparalleled views, a bit of peace and tranquillity and pure indulgence -- the perfect overnight getaway with that special someone. With a deep, vibrant and rich history, our Secret space for this enchanting experience will surprise and delight you at every turn.

Our Secret chef this month is a culinary virtuoso of both local and international acclaim and they are dusting off their chef's jacket and making their grand return to the kitchen just for us and one magical night -- and magnificent morning, should you decided to stay for breakfast! 

This Secret chef began their culinary career at the Royale Hotel Durban in the late 80s, worked and traveled Europe in some of the best kitchens and proudly returned to South Africa in 1998 where they ran some of the country's top resort kitchens. It's truly an honour to welcome them as food is their passion and constantly creating, developing and testing new recipes and innovations keeps them at the top of their culinary game.

*NB:The overnight experience is designed to be enjoyed with your significant other or a close friend; each booking is for 2 guests and includes a private room at this lush, luxurious little hidden gem. Solo guests are more than welcome to join us for the dinner, of course.

Overnight Excursion

Guests joining us overnight are invited to self-drive to our Secret spot (revealed the day before!) and arrive at your leisure or opt for the round-trip shuttle service. Upon arrival, you’ll begin your SecretEATS experience with an intimate, exclusive riverside welcome in your room. After, take some time to explore and connect with nature before we meet up for some pre-dinner bubbles, canapes and our first Secret.

Now it's time to indulge in a simply sensational 4-course dining experience by our Secret chef and perfectly paired with some of our favourite South African wines. After dinner, retreat to your room to rest, recuperate and recover before tomorrow morning’s gourmet breakfast and a leisurely day on the property before heading back to the city.

While we can’t give away all our Secrets just yet, you know we've got a few up our sleeve just to take your weekend from wow to W-O-W!

Dinner & Transport Only

Get ready for an evening of unforgettable food, drink and fun as we meet, mingle and mix together with new and old friends alike. Book your spot on our round-trip Secret shuttle for ease or choose to self-drive to our Secret spot.

As always, your evening will begin with a welcome drink, some canapes and a little mixing and mingling before we move to our shared dinner table. Then, enjoy course after course of gourmet goodness prepared by our classically trained Secret chef as you sit back, relax and enjoy the evening.

Perfectly paired, premium wines from some of SA's top farms compliment each course and, of course, help the conversation flow as we meet, mix and mingle to create an evening of magic.

As always, we have a few Secrets and surprises up our sleeve to make sure our #SecretDinner is simply sensational.

Our Secret evenings aren't like any ordinary dinner party -- it's a social soiree bringing together the very best in food, wine and fun!
